Dock Light Performance Testing
• Chip resistant safety yellow & black powder coating finish for high
visibility and durability
• 5’ long 18/3 SJT, 120V cordset with NEMA 15-5 grounded plug
• On/Off switch & wire guard included on each light head
• 1-1/2” square, 11-gauge, steel tubing
• 3” x 5” x 3/16” mounting plate attached with (4) 3/8” bolts (not
supplied)
• (4) Lighting Sources to select from: incandescent, quartz halogen, LED,
or fluorescent
• (2) Arm Lengths:
40” or 60” (plus 25” flex arm, incandescent only)
• VA models include (2) dock arms with a vertical adjustment bracket
allowing outer arm to adjust from 300° horizontally and 210° vertically
• All light heads will swivel 300°
• Bulbs included with all light heads, except incandescent models
• ETL C/US Listed for indoor applications only, except QH models are
semi-protected outdoor
• Made in U.S.A. with domestic and foreign components

We measured light levels (in footcandles) inside a 8' x 9' x 53' trailer with a wooden floor and ceiling and white fiberglass walls.
A matrix of nine measurements were taken at five work plains inside the trailer. Averages were figured along the center work
plane of the trailer.
These charts measure the overall quality of truck trailer illumination from a selection of light sources. Many other factors such
as: cost of energy, safety, availability of fixtures, cost of labor and replacement lamps should figure into your final decision.
