• For optimum shutter efficiency, moun shutter 1/3 the distance of the
fan opening size. Example: 36” fan shutter would be mounted 12”
from the fan blade.

• Used to open shutter when shutter is used to provide make-up air (Shutter
should be one size larger than exhaust fan size and should be located on
opposite wall)
• Used for positive closure of exhaust shutter
